RESTON, Va., Nov. 21, 2024 – The 2025 e-tron GT lineup now features the S e-tron GT as an entry model, offering more power and range than the 2024 RS e-tron GT. Joining it is the RS e-tron GT performance, Audi’s most powerful and fastest EV, setting new milestones in power and acceleration. These electric super sedans boast upgraded power, battery capacity, and chassis enhancements, delivering supercar-level performance with the signature e-tron GT design.

The 2025 e-tron GT features revised design elements to distinguish the RS model, including new fascias, wheels, B-pillar badging, and four fresh colors. Inside, updates include a new steering wheel with satellite controls, including a boost mode button for the RS, and an optional glass roof with adjustable transparency via the MMI display, allowing nine levels from tinted to frosted.

FLAGSHIP POWER, ADVANCED RECUPERATION, LARGER YET LIGHTER BATTERY
For 2025, the S e-tron GT delivers 670 horsepower, surpassing both the 2024 e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT with improved 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.3 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than before. The RS e-tron GT performance, Audi’s fastest production car, achieves 912 horsepower and accelerates to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds. Audi has enhanced motor efficiency, incorporating a lighter, more compact rear motor and higher copper density, reducing weight by 22 pounds. Both motors feature dynamic power reserves, enabling up to 912 horsepower during Launch Control.

The 2025 e-tron GT now boasts a 105 kWh battery, a 12% increase over the previous model, while shedding 25 pounds. DC fast charging is faster, going from 270 kW to 320 kW, reducing 10-80% charge time to 18 minutes. Braking recuperation has been boosted to 400 kW, offering up to 0.45 g of deceleration, and coasting recuperation is improved. Despite the power increases, the 2025 S e-tron GT offers a greater EPA-estimated range than its 2024 counterparts.

EFFICIENCY COMBINED WITH REPEATABLE PERFORMANCE
The RS e-tron GT performance prioritizes efficiency and consistent high output with advanced thermal management. Its four independent coolant circuits ensure optimal cooling for the battery, motors, and interior, with the adaptive cooling circuit activating during high output or RS performance mode to maintain temperatures.

The upgraded 105 kWh battery (97 kWh net) allows for higher energy storage and charging currents, with a maximum charging current of 400 amps, reaching up to 1,100 amps during Launch Control or the push-to-pass feature. This feature adds 94 horsepower for 10 seconds above 19 mph, with a 10-second cooldown. A new U-Flow cooling plate enhances heat transfer, increasing maximum DC fast charging to 320 kW, enabling a 10-80% charge in around 18 minutes under ideal conditions.

CHASSIS UPGRADES TO ENHANCE HANDLING PERFORMANCE
The e-tron GT’s ride and handling have been enhanced with a new 2-chamber/2-valve air suspension, improving driving dynamics and comfort. An optional active suspension manages body movements, improves control, and allows for corner-leaning to enhance steering precision. A new 14.3:1 steering ratio and all-wheel steering further boost handling.

The Audi drive select system offers profiles for efficiency, comfort, and dynamic driving, with RS-specific RS1 and RS2 modes for customizable drive, suspension, ride height, and sound. The RS performance mode optimizes dynamics for track or twisty roads, adjusting torque control, suspension, and cooling strategy.

The RS e-tron GT performance comes standard with 20" wheels, with optional 21" wheels.

EXTENSIVE CARBON DESIGN ELEMENTS AND EXCLUSIVE OPTIONS
The RS e-tron GT performance offers an optional matte darkened carbon roof and exclusive forged carbon elements, including parts of the bumper, diffuser, side mirrors, and interior trim. Forged carbon, used for the first time by Audi, is stronger and has unique appearances, as no two pieces are identical.

The RS model also features a new Vanadium interior package with darker trim and a special white Power Meter and speedometer. The S e-tron GT comes in a limited 50-unit Audi exclusive edition with Arabica Gray metallic paint, black 21" wheels, and a leather-free interior with Mint Gray and Mora Violet highlights. It also includes color-coordinated accents and Audi exclusive anthracite eucalyptus wood inlays.

CUSTOMIZABLE SOUND EXPERIENCE
In the RS e-tron GT performance, customers can adjust the vehicle sound, from the quiet of electric drive to a dynamic, high-quality e-tron Sport sound. Standard on the model, this sound is enhanced for a Gran Turismo experience. Two control units and amplifiers generate separate exterior and interior sounds, played through speakers inside and outside the car.

The digital sound is based on factors like motor speed, accelerator position, and vehicle speed. It combines real recordings and synthesized audio from 32 sources, creating a rich, authentic sound that reflects the vehicle's drive system.

SMALL-SERIES PRODUCTION FOR RS PERFORMANCE MODEL
All e-tron GT models are built at Audi’s Böllinger Höfe facility, part of the Neckarsulm site, where about 500 employees received specialized training. This includes assembling the active suspension and integrating the body with the battery, electric motors, and suspension. These components are precisely positioned using a workpiece carrier and self-aligning tools, with 74 points where the battery and drive components are bolted to the body.

Böllinger Höfe also serves as a testing ground for advancing digitalization in production, refining intelligent solutions for a fully connected and smart factory, which will later be implemented in large-scale production.
