Köln, Germany, 28 November 2024 - The Toyota GR Supra has reached new heights with the limited-edition A90 Final Edition and the upgraded GR Supra Lightweight EVO, offering enhanced driving dynamics and celebrating its motorsport legacy.

The GR Supra, a pure sports car with a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and “golden ratio” dimensions for optimal handling, was the first global model developed by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR). The A90 Final Edition marks the culmination of the current generation, featuring 95 DIN hp (70 kW) more power, 70 Nm extra torque, aerodynamic enhancements, racing-inspired KW suspension, and larger tires. Although production ends with this model, TGR will continue refining the Supra through motorsport.

The GR Supra Lightweight EVO enhances the connection to the road with improved handling, suspension, braking, and aerodynamics for a sharper driving experience.

Since its debut in 1978 as the Celica Supra, the model has delighted fans with its front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and inline-six engine. The current generation, launched in 2019, introduced a 2.0L turbocharged option alongside the classic 3.0L inline-six. In 2022, a six-speed intelligent manual transmission was added, tailored to maximize the 3.0L engine's performance, along with retuned brakes and suspension for greater precision.

GR SUPRA A90 FINAL EDITION
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing presents the GR Supra A90 Final Edition, a high-performance, limited-edition sports car showcasing advanced motorsport technology. Inspired by GR Supra's success in drift, endurance, NASCAR, and GT4 championships, this ultimate version blends power, agility, and precision, with only 300 units available worldwide.

Equipped with a 3.0L engine and manual transmission, the A90 Final Edition boasts increased output of 435 DIN hp and 570 Nm torque, achieving a top speed of 270 km/h. Enhanced cornering comes from KW adjustable suspension, improved wheel camber, and optimised differential control. Wider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and Brembo brakes ensure superior handling and stopping power.

Aerodynamics are refined with carbon-fibre components, including a GT4-inspired rear wing and Akrapovič titanium muffler for a thrilling engine sound. Cooling is upgraded with additional radiators, enhanced fans, and improved oil distribution for peak performance.

Inside, the driver-focused cabin features RECARO Podium CF bucket seats, Alcantara trim, and exclusive red accents, reinforcing its racing pedigree. Finished in matt black with TGR branding, this special edition exemplifies the GR Supra's legacy of precision engineering and motorsport excellence.

GR Supra Lightweight Evo
The GR Supra Lightweight EVO represents TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's commitment to refining performance through motorsport expertise, offering enhanced precision, stability, and driving dynamics.

Traction and cornering grip are improved with active differential control, exclusive control maps, and revised wheel camber angles, while larger Brembo brake discs ensure better braking control. Suspension and chassis upgrades include electronically controlled shock absorbers, strengthened stabilisers, and reinforced rubber mounts for a more integrated and responsive driving feel.

Aerodynamic enhancements, such as a carbon-fibre ducktail spoiler, front wheel arch flaps, and higher tyre spats, optimise downforce and balance. A more direct steering sensation is delivered via optimised electric power steering.

The Lightweight EVO features matte black 19-inch wheels, a leather and Alcantara driver's seat with GR embroidery, and red accents throughout the sporty interior.

Both the Lightweight EVO and A90 Final Edition will be available in Europe from January 2025.
