>> Clear and focused: interior design is the foundation for user-centric technical solutions and a premium feel-good atmosphere
>> Enhanced: exterior advanced with advanced dynamic design elements comes as standard

Audi is expanding its model range with a sporty coupé, the Q5 Sportback. With its progressive and dynamic silhouette, this derivative appeals to design-savvy customers who also desire the benefits of an SUV.

The Audi Q5 Sportback combines SUV versatility with a dynamic silhouette. Its sporty design features a sloping rear and elegant lines. The second-generation Q5 Sportback offers up to 515 liters of luggage space (470 liters in the SQ5) and expands to 1,415 liters (1,388 liters in the SQ5) with the rear seats folded. It also boasts a towing capacity of up to 2,400 kilograms.

SPORTY DESIGN THANKS TO DYNAMIC, SLOPING ROOFLINE
The new Audi Q5 Sportback features a sleeker design with a bold Singleframe grille, sharp headlights, and dynamic lines running from the rocker panel to the rear bumper. A sloping roofline and flat rear window enhance its sporty profile, while horizontal shoulder lines visually support the roof arch.

The rear design emphasizes minimalism with a smooth surface flowing into a sculptural light strip, a sporty breakaway edge, and integrated diffuser. Optional roof rails add utility, and S models include signature twin round tailpipes with a refreshed look.

EXTERIOR ADVANCED COMES AS STANDARD IN THE Q5 SPORTBACK
The Q5 Sportback offers advanced and S line trims, with the SQ5 Sportback featuring a unique design. The advanced trim adds Scandium Gray accents, Tambora Gray details, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The S line and S models include larger air intakes, sporty diffusers, and chrome-look Singleframe frames. The S model adds vertical chrome accents for a bolder look. Both trims feature aluminum-look window trim and digital OLED rear lights, while a projection light on the spoiler enhances safety by enlarging the brake light area.

COMPLEMENTING THE EXTERIOR: THE INTERIOR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The new Q5 Sportback's interior prioritizes comfort, functionality, and sustainability. Its Audi MMI displays create a sleek digital stage, while high-contrast design enhances spatial aesthetics. The “Softwrap” connects the doors, cockpit, and console, fostering a cozy atmosphere. Sustainable materials like Cascade upholstery and Dinamica microfiber, made from recycled polyester, highlight Audi's eco-friendly approach.

STATE-OF-THE-ART COMBUSTION MODEL WITH MHEV PLUS
The new Audi Q5 Sportback is built on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) for vehicles with longitudinal combustion engines, featuring MHEV plus technology. Its 48-volt system boosts performance, reduces emissions, and supports limited electric maneuvering and parking. The powertrain generator adds up to 230 Nm torque and 18 kW (24 PS), while an electric air conditioning compressor ensures cooling even when the engine is off.

The lithium-ion battery, with 1.7 kWh capacity, enables mild hybrid functions like recuperation and engine support. Later, plug-in hybrid versions with larger batteries will join the lineup.

At launch, the Q5 Sportback offers three engines, all with MHEV plus and a seven-speed S tronic transmission. The 2.0 TFSI delivers 150 kW (204 PS) and 340 Nm, with optional quattro. The 2.0 TDI offers 150 kW (204 PS) and 400 Nm, exclusively with quattro. The top-tier SQ5 Sportback features a 3.0 V6 TFSI with 270 kW (367 PS) and 550 Nm of torque.

MARKET LAUNCH AND PRICES
The new Q5 Sportback and SQ5 Sportback will be available to order from December 2024. Prices start at 54,800 euros or 85,400 euros for the S model.
