Import New, Owner did full restoration, but some places are needed for repair and cosmetic. Owner wants to let go as is.
1955 Fiat Topolino-C (Mickey Mouse)
Topolino is Italian and translates literally as “little mouse”. It is also Italian name for Mickey Mouse. It was one of the smallest cars in the world at the time of its production. Launched in 1936, three models were produced until 1955.
Owner owned “her” since 2021 and have been restoring “her” since then.
Work Done:
• Split the body from the chassis, stripped both body and chassis to bare metal.
• Spot which identified with corrosion, replaced with newer plates(1mm) to avoid further damage.
• A layer of epoxy coating painted after the body work complete.
• Glasurit paint used to beautify her with customized striking colour to make “her” more noticeable.
• Full set of new wiring
• Replaced the brake hoses, brake lines and master brake pump.
• Engine full painting
I shall let the pictures do the job next!
Things pending to do:
INTERIOR
• All the seats available (modified bracket)-fully functioning.
• Door cuts available, need to redo.
• Soft top mechanism available, soft top NOT available (need to purchase together with the locks)
• Floor carpet NOT available.
• Front Light – Fully functioning. NOT original.
• Back light – NOT available.
• Back signal light- Fully functioning. NOT original.
