REMARKS: 1967 Triumph Spitfire MKII 1.2 For Sale
Good Running Condition, Neat Interior, Restored and Well Maintained, Leather Seats, MK4 Type Rear Suspension, DTC Racing Engine, Brake Servo and Pads Replaced, Softtop in Good Condition, SPAX Krypton Gas Adjustable Damper, Done 34k miles.
A very clean Triumph Spitfire MKII that has been lovingly restored. It is powered by a 1147cc motor with High-Compression Pistons whilst being fed by Twin SU Carburetors. The engine was prepared and built by DTC racing. The gearbox is 4 speed full synchro with overdrive upgrade. All four absorbers have been rebuilt and the fronts are adjustable. Rear suspension has been upgraded to the MK4 Type. Brake servo and pads have been replaced. The body has undergone a full panel of repaint and much of the chromes have been replaced. The interior and soft top is in good condition. Mechanically the car drives well and is a reflection of the effort invested in this asset. One of the best specimen you will find, cosmetically and mechanically. Comes with a cherished classic number 8989.

Body & Exterior:
The condition of the exterior is good.
The color of the car is Red. The body has undergone a full panel of repaint.
The car shows no sign of major body repairs or flood damage.
The body panels do not have big dents or scratches. Slight stone chips may be found.
Windscreen and windows have no obvious damage.
Wing mirrors are in good shape.
Rear boot has no signs of damage or rust.
Headlamps and indicators have no major damage.
Much of the chromes have been replaced.
Interior:
Interior is original, well kept and non-smoking.
Driver Zone ie steering, gear knob, handbrake and door handles are in good condition.
Passenger zone ie other doors and seats are in good condition.
Accessories functions ie lights, horn, wiper, signal, air conditioning and radio are operational.
Mechanical & Operation:
The car drives well and the handling is good.
Engine operation is good.
Engine temperature is stable.
Engine fluids are at appropriate level.
Engine may have signs of sedimentation or leaks which is usual for older cars.
Power steering works fine.
The hoses show no signs of sedimentation or leak.
Radiator has no indication of major damage.
Brake system operation is normal.
Gear system operation is normal.
Suspension operation is normal with no metallic knocking noises.
Undercarriage have no major damage and show no signs of major rusts.
Impact bars and Cross-links have no major signs of damage.
Exhaust pipe has no major damage.
SERVICE & HISTORY
Last engine oil change was done in 2022. It is due now.
The front tires thread life is good.
The rear tires thread life is good.
Brake servo and pads have been replaced.
Front Brake pads are still healthy.
Rear brake pads are still healthy.
